Annual Banquet 2007
Dallas and Cindy Steiger were chosen as
Rosebud Conservation District's
Conservationist of the Year for 2006.  
They were honored at the combined
Rosebud-Treasure Annual Banquet held
in Hysham on March 4.
Doug McRae, Rosebud Conservation
District (RCD) chair presented a
powerpoint documenting the work
done by the Steigers.  Their efforts
have reduced both the amount of
water used for irrigation and the
fertilizer necessary to grow their crops.
