About the Rosebud Watershed Group
Formed in 2004, the Rosebud Watershed Group is composed of Rosebud Creek
landowners and other people with a vested interest in the watershed. The goal
is to promote the health and vitality of the Rosebud Creek watershed by
combating weeds and erosion, as well as stream pollution. Bob Nansel, former
RCD Board Chairman, was extremely instrumental in the formation of this group.
The Partnership is funded through several grants from the Local Empowerment
Program ($40,000) and the State of Montana Income Capacity Grant ($6500)
and several Watershed Planning Assistance Grants.
